Sterling Silver and Australian Crystal Opal double wish ring
I love this shape, the shape of the seed and all the promise that a seed holds. From one tiny seed an entire forest can grow ! This Opal is one of the very best I have made to date and I am absolutely mesmerized by it. Truth be told it is hard to part with but it is Art and Art is meant to be shared. For a few years now I have debated how to use it, what design would be the best and finally it came to me. I set about how to accomplish what I saw in my mind. This photo does not do it justice, this opal has exceptional color and fire to it. In different lights you will see different colors such as electric green, deep blue, violet and purple. It is just gorgeous. The drops on the bottom and the top represent wishes to be made by its forever owner. It is extremely special to me and I know that when the person it is meant for sees it, they’ll know immediately.
It has my makers mark stamped on the back and is adjustable so it can fit sizes 6.5 to 8. It is 17mm wide and 30mm long. The band is 3.2mm so it’s very comfortable to wear. The opal itself is 10.6 x 8mm
I absolutely LOVE this ring and am extremely proud of it.
