These earrings were made because I really wanted a pair of them! The impetus was to make a really beautiful pair of earrings that when worn would imbue you with a sense of strength and personal power. Garnets have traditionally been used great for Strength and personal empowerment as well as helping ti strengthen the blood and the circulatory system. They are stamped with the Sigil for Art as well as my personal maker stamp and the stamp for Sterling silver .925.
Behind the Centre Sigil Art stamp are tiny stamped raindrops to represent divine inspiration raining down onto the wearer. On the outside facing part if the earring wire there is another garnet and dangling from it, the wall armed cross representing increase, the four directions, four seasons and all good things associated with it. I’m going to have to make myself my own pair of these because I just love them so much!!
