I love Abalone, a proper jewel from the Sea. The long squash blossoms are stamped around the bottom by hand of course.
They weigh 11 grams and are 3 & 1/4 inches long. They feel light to wear but are substantial enough to know they’re there. Abalone is considered as one if the most sacred treasures by many indigenous people and is used for both food and also Art and regalia. It represents the great mother, the feminine and the beauty of our world. I’m very proud of these earrings and of course they are the only ones I’ve ever made. All my pieces are one of a kind actually.
