Abalone and Sterling silver lucky charm necklace. Abalone has long been treasured as a gem by many indigenous peoples and I couldn’t agree more ! I love it. It is protective, promotes emotional balance, protection from evil, strengthening, prosperity and enhances intuition. Because it is a gem of the Sea, I crafted a moon charm that hangs in the chain along with a double spiral. I wore a double spiral ring my dad made since I was about 20. When I asked him what it heart to him he replied “ As Above so Below”. He was an amazing man. The top prayer box has the sigil for Art inscribed inside it and in the back is my maker’s mark and stamp of 925 sterling. It sits on a 14 inch leather choker with handmade end caps, chain and French hook closure. I’m very proud of this piece.
